I just noticed that when the unit is off and charging and I hit power button to see charge level there is a really bad bleed through from the backlight around the edges of the lcd screen.  Is this normal for this LCD screen.
    Thanks

would it be possible to look at your scanner the next time you plug it in to charge. I got the 908 but the screen mfg should be the same as the 905. If anyone who has a 908, can the look at their screen too.
    Thanks

Thanks for checking for me. Just to be sure i am saying it correctly. The edge backlight bleed through is when the unit is totally off and you hit the power button quickly to see the battery icon in middle of the screen to see the battery level with charger hooked up. That is the only time you will see the backlight edge problem.

Edit: I also noticed it when the unit is starting up with the maxisys logo.  In order to see the the bleed through you need to be in a dark room.  It might be normal but I want to be sure as this scanner isn't cheap.

    Thank You

I will recheck again in the dark i may have missed something I will surely let you know i will also contact tech support to see if this is normal or if it could be fix with a software update there could be something corrupted in the tools main software maybe the video card driver also proscesor even ram  hopefully not the screen that will be a nightmare  i will keep you posted if anything pops up

Thanks, I really appreciate your help.  I took a picture of the screen. It didn't come out very good because I couldn't use a flash and had reflections.

yes the video its not to  clear i see like too much light on the edge of the screen, there is no one near me with the 908 so that i can compare it with
I dont know if this will help but on the settings of the tool there is an option for the screen  brightness it has like an auto bright feature  disable it  maybe your tool its trying to self adjust and your seen this as a result also could it be your power supply sending the wrong voltage or amperage  does this only happens when been charge
